The press mounts to the cylinder head using two special bolts (included) that thread into the spark-plug holes and retain/locate the fixture. The press arms engage the camshaft and provide a downward force ... allowing the bearing caps to be removed without fear of bending or breaking the fragile/hollow camshafts. Truly massive construction.
